The conclusion of HBO's Game of Thrones is nearly upon us (and presumably, at some point, we might actually see the next book in the series as well), so it feels like the perfect time for a roundup of mods that bring Martin's world to PC games. Eight players can join the fray as the Greyjoys, Starks, Tyrells, both Baratheons, and the other major factions in the War of the Five Kings.
Skyrim—The Game of Thrones AdaptationYou can't play it yet—it's currently between versions, with the older version having been taken down ahead of the release of a new beta—but this is definitely one to bookmark. It's an overhaul that plans to transform Skyrim into Westeros, with dozens of locations and characters from the fiction and custom quests. Ambitious, to be sure, and there's no mention of a release date at the moment.While you wait, you can check out a trailer below, which is already looking pretty great.

The units look great. The new icy style battle boars have a shine to them and the fire giants have completely changed from fire, to ice as it now instead of fire around it ice. The detail used in each unit is roughly the same so the quality of the units is always quite high.The building's rooftops have also been changed to ice but however, when you rise to the mythic age the ice from the rooftops dissappear. This fault is not the same for the units though which are good.This modpack is really worth downloading and i guarantee that you will get quite alot of fun from it. If the slight fault with the buildings was fixed then it would be better.
